to be an accommodation that loved ones enjoy visiting and the local community respects.
The guidance of the Care Quality Commission is valued by carers, together with the contribution of related health professionals, with GPs and dentists among the regular visitors to the home.
Visiting loved ones
We know how important visits from loved ones are to everyone right now. We have a dedicated visiting area which visitors can pre-book. This has a clear screen to keep everyone safe.
Please check with the home manager for guidance on how to keep your visit as safe as possible and to help plan your visit.
Accommodation & Facilities
There are 24 bedrooms at Marwood Residential Home, most of which have en-suite facilities. Residents are welcome to bring their own furniture and mementos to ease the transition into the Care Home and create a home-from-home environment.
In addition to this, we have several bathrooms, which are specially adapted for those who are less able.
There are three sitting rooms where our residents can relax, read or watch television. The light and airy dining room is also situated on the ground floor in our beautiful conservatory, which looks out onto the garden.
We also have outside seating areas where our residents can sit in fine weather to enjoy the lovely garden.
